Wednesday “Drop-in” Meditation

This is an on-going drop-in Meditation group. All levels of practitioner are welcome.

Short talk followed by 25 minutes of guided practice.

We have 10 minutes or so following the meditation to share any reflections or questions you have about your practice.

This year the talks will focus on the Buddhist Paramis. These are qualities of the heart: Generosity, ethics, renunciation, wisdom, energy, patience, truthfulness, resolution, lovingkindness, and equanimity. They will support the growth of presence and wholesomeness in our lives.

Jaye will send out a link the day before the meeting.

The Wednesday “Drop In” group is offered freely, in the tradition of Dana.


There is a long tradition of offering meditation instruction with no expectation of payment. Our “Time In” group and Jaye’s “Drop-In” sits are offered in this tradition: we expect no fee.

“Dana” is a part of this tradition. The recipient of our offering might consider offering some amount based on a combination of perceived value and personal means. In the freedom of this exchange we open to the heart aspect appreciation, kindness, and gratitude.

In this spirit, we receive what is freely offered.
